Success at Auspack 2017

AutoCoding Systems Ltd, specialists in packaging line automation, were demonstrating their world class code assurance and packaging verification solution, together with their Loma TRACS 2 Inspection Reporting tool at the recent Auspack exhibition in Sydney.

Visitors to the AutoCoding Systems’ stand were able to see how the AutoCoding solution could help them reduce downtime and job changeover time by removing the requirement to manually set-up packaging line equipment.  In addition, by removing human intervention in the set-up of the equipment, the risk of product recalls due to coding errors is avoided.  As a further precaution, continuous in-line scanning of the packaging using 1D and 2D barcode scanners verify that the packaging is not only correct for the product, but that the most up-to-date artwork version is being used; particularly important when running promotions or similar packaging formats are used.

AutoCoding Systems and Loma Distributor, Inspection Systems, were delighted with the genuine interest shown by visitors to the stand.  The obvious benefits offered by AutoCoding’s solutions were recognised immediately confirming AutoCoding Systems’ decision to expand their UK operation to the Australian market.

Dean Rockstro, Business Development Manager heading up the Australian operation commented, “Up until now there hasn’t been such a versatile and robust code assurance and packaging verification solution available to the Australian market.  AutoCoding Systems have over 750 lines in the UK already protected by the AutoCoding solution and, over a 12-year period, they have developed an extensive library of drivers for multiple brands of equipment.  Potential customers don’t need to be concerned about the solution being compatible with their existing equipment.  The AutoCoding product plays nicely with all brands and types of equipment so there’s no requirement to standardise.”

Enhanced functionality is available with the addition of modules such as the Loma TRACS 2 Inspection Reporting tool which monitors and reports on the performance of Loma and Lock inspection devices.
