What’s New from Fibrelite at this year’s Utility Week Live?

Fibrelite’s technical team will be exhibiting and presenting on their newest innovations in composite trench panels and access covers at Utility Week Live at the NEC in Birmingham, (17th to 18th May at Stand A50).
Fibrelite are continually innovating, particularly for their trench cover offering, and introducing new products both for new build and retrofit applications.

This means that their covers can be made in a large number of bespoke configurations and load ratings (from F900 load rated covers for docks and ports, to A15 for pedestrian use, in a variety of sizes up to a maximum of 1m x 1.8 m). The Fibrelite cover is inert, chemically resistant and impervious to gas and vapour and therefore can be used to cover all types of conduit and service lines. Covers can be custom moulded to accommodate pipework entry, shallow depths with stepped cover profiles, steam and gas release vents, inspection ports and much more.
Fibrelite are giving a technical presentation on Innovations in Trenching Systems with Robert Caddick in the Pumping Station Area of Utility Week Live on the 17th May from 2:00pm-3:15pm to talk about these innovations.
Retrofitting
Retrofit covers can be designed to fit into existing frames or formed rebates therefore eliminating costly and time consuming construction works. There are no break outs of existing structures and no curing time of reinstated concrete. In critical high trafficked or frequently accessed areas this is a major advantage. (Fibrelite manufacture in the UK for the UK market allowing for on-site technical support and fast bespoke production).
Locking Covers
Fibrelite continues developing their range of locking covers, designed for areas which need to be secured from unauthorised access or theft.

Stand Out or Blend In
Fibrelite covers can be moulded in virtually any colour or colour combination with no scratching or fading over time. This means that covers can incorporate moulded logos or marks and/or be colourcoded to match a facility’s branding as in one of the UK’s premier football stadiums, or even to identify specific underground services, for example covers which have been installed at one of Britain’s largest ports to indicate fresh water outlets.
