Electronic component specialist Hitaltech is to preview a new prototype enclosure at the Engineering Design Show in October.
The BAC-box is designed specifically to fit over the standard UK double-gang back box, offering designers of products for the building automation controls market, an off-the shelf solution for their controls.
Lancashire-based Hitaltech will also be showcasing its innovative range of products at the trade show, which attracts thousands of industry insiders annually and this year takes place on October 18 and 19 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
In addition to the latest enclosure design, Hitaltech will be showing the Conex-it range of PCB mounting terminal blocks and connectors, and a range of flat, vibration and stress resistant flexible cables for applications requiring interconnection of two or more PCBs.
Founded in 1986, Hitaltech is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company specialising in connecting technologies and enclosures suitable for electronic and electrical applications.
Sales manager Matthew Hughes said: “Our new enclosure is still at the prototype stage, but we’re excited about the developments so far.
“We’re looking forward to unveiling it at the Engineering Design Show. We can show off its capabilities, but also gain feedback from the electronics community which will help us refine the product before launch.”
The free-to-attend Engineering Design Show attracts thousands of guests from around the UK, with product demonstrations, keynote speakers and practical engineering-themed workshops.
