A retired Air Force General who most recently served as the Commanding General of NATO Air Training Command, responsible for leading 14 nations in developing the $6.7B Afghan Air Force, John serves on several corporate boards, is a member of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Skyworks-Global, the world’s leading Gyronautics firm.

John’s award-winning work has been featured in a wide variety of articles and journals, including the Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, CEO Magazine, Investor Business Daily, Huffington Post, National Geographic, Joint Forces Quarterly, and the Washington Post. His latest book, The Art of Positive Leadership, was written while serving in Afghanistan.
