HMS Networks winner of Swedish Enterprise Award in Germany

Winner in the category “Medium-Sized Company”

HMS Networks has been named a winner of the Swedish Enterprise Award in Germany 2019 in the category of medium-sized companies. The prize has been awarded since 2003 by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Business Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden, and is aimed at Swedish companies that have successfully established themselves in Germany. “We are very proud of the award, which is a receipt for our successful establishment and operations in Germany,” says Staffan Dahlström, CEO of HMS.“During the past 20 years, HMS has established itself as an important partner for German companies in industrial communications and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Thousands of German manufacturers of automation products, machine builders and factories use our solutions. We have been particularly successful in the segment of medium-sized industrial companies,” says Staffan Dahlström. “Thanks to market-leading communication solutions and close cooperation between HMS’s headquarters in Halmstad and our German organization, we have been able to help German companies to increase competitiveness and win business in Germany as well as internationally,” continues Dahlström.

HMS Networks has had its own operations in Germany since 2000. Today, the German market is HMS’ largest with about 25% of total sales, and the success in Germany has contributed strongly to HMS’s global growth journey. Today, HMS has a total of 150 employees in the country distributed between a sales office in Karlsruhe and development centers in Ravensburg, Wetzlar and Buchen.

The Swedish Enterprise Award will be awarded during a gala evening in Berlin on November 21.
