Staffordshire agency brings new client’s PR together

~ TFC appoints Stone Junction as its PR agency ~

Technical PR agency Stone Junction has been appointed by one of Europe’s leading suppliers of engineering fasteners. TFC, which specialises in fasteners, technical design and vendor managed inventory (VMI), will work with Stone Junction to develop its presence across core media sectors including design engineering, oil and gas and automotive.

Established over 50 years ago, TFC has over 3,000 customers, which it supplies from multiple UK and European sites. As well as supplying technical fastening solutions, TFC assists in the technical design of wave springs. The company also assists customers with their supply chains and helps them reduce the costs of stockholding and handling products, by offering tailored VMI systems.

“When looking for a PR agency to collaborate with, we wanted a partner that really understood the industries we work in,” explained Alan Scrafton, group marketing manager at TFC. “Stone Junction seemed like the natural choice and we will now be working with the team to reach out to new and existing customers, by building our social media presence and appearing in trade media.”

“Stone Junction is exclusively a science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) PR agency,” explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. “Over a third of our team hold an undergraduate qualification or more in a STEM subject, while the rest of the team are either linguists or from a marketing or journalism background. By recruiting this way and working only within our core sectors, Stone Junction has a highly specialised technical international team.”

The TFC appointment is the latest good news for Stone Junction, which recently retained the title of Outstanding Large PR Consultancy at the Midlands Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards in September 2019.
