At Plant & Asset Management stand P40, progressive cavity (PC) pump manufacturer SEEPEX will showcase their Smart Conveying Technology and Digital Solutions portfolio.
Visitors to the SEEPEX stand can learn how the innovative design of Smart Conveying Technology (SCT) pumps enables the stator, rotor and mechanical seal to be replaced without removal of suction or discharge pipework, reducing maintenance time by up to 85%. Furthermore pump efficiency can be restored by adjusting the stator segments, which extends the service life of the pumping elements by up to 200%.SEEPEX will also demonstrate their Pump Monitor (SPM) and Connected Services (SCS). The Pump Monitor turns the pump into an intelligent field device by constantly monitoring operating status and performance and immediately reporting the results to the user. The Pump Monitor uses specific PC pump intelligence and data from a configurable range of sensors to provide continuous status information for pump and process optimisation. Live data such as temperature, pressure or flowrate are measured, displayed and logged for performance analysis. Pump monitoring provides important information on equipment operating conditions and enables predictive maintenance to be implemented.
In addition, SEEPEX Connected Services provide an interactive cloud platform offering central services relating to the progressive cavity pump, such as remote monitoring and advanced analytics – used for trend analysis as basis for optimisation. Connected Services complement the capabilities of the locally installed SEEPEX Pump Monitor and make it possible for users to monitor and manage their entire worldwide installed base of pumps, regardless of location from anywhere on the globe, remotely and 24/7.
The net result of the SEEPEX Connected Services is to give the end user transparency to reduce reactive capital maintenance, enabling Forward Looking Capital Maintenance, which increases efficiency and lowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
