Danfoss welcomes two new starters at partner companies

Danfoss Drives maintains a very close relationship with all of its DrivePro® partners, and it is especially proud to welcome new members of staff to Varicon (3D) Drives and Greenville Electrical. The two new recruits will be promoting the sale of Danfoss VLT® and Vacon® branded drives and DrivePro® service products while delivering the high calibre of customer services that is consistently delivered by our partner network.

Varicon (3D) Drives Ltd, a DrivePro® service partner specialising in variable speed drives (VSD’s), UPS Systems and installation, has recently employed Matt Siddon as Area Sales Manager. In his new role, Matt will be managing accounts in the South West of England and South Wales. Matt is currently working from his home office in Bristol, where he is perfectly located for meeting customers to discuss sales, service and support of Danfoss and Vacon® variable speed drives, having already had some socially distanced in-person meetings.

Matt has been working in the drives industry for over 10 years, and thanks to his applications expertise, particularly within the water industry, he is aiming to provide solutions which will increase productivity and reliability, whilst saving customers energy and money on their bills.

When he is not hard at work, Matt enjoys a round of golf with his friends, and generally tries to keep fit and healthy. He is a Bristol Rovers fan and is looking forward to watching them play once the current situation on attending sporting events changes.

Allan from Greenville

Allan Murray has also recently joined our drives partner Greenville Electrical as Office Manager at the Hamilton facility located just outside of Glasgow. Founded in 1978, Greenville has become one of the largest Danfoss drives distributors in the UK and Ireland. The company has offices in London, Belfast, Dundalk, Dublin and Hamilton. Allan will be supporting the Hamilton team with sales and service operations, managing the business systems and supporting customer liaison.

Allan has previously worked for a condition monitoring company and a leading drives manufacturer partner in the roles of Technical Sales Engineer, Project Manager and then Office Manager. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Greenville and hopes to meet all Greenville and Danfoss partners as soon as restrictions lift.  

Allan has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, holds a pilot’s license and in his spare time likes to fly single engine propeller aircraft. He is also a keen motorcyclist and enjoys working on his bike whenever he gets the chance. With an Italian family connection, Allan has recently taken to learning Italian and is becoming more proficient by the day.
