Advantech Connect Online Partner Conference: Industrial IoT

Over 50 Speakers Share Strategic Insight and Outline Growth Opportunities

07th April 2021 – The first ever Advantech Connect online partner conference will comprise a series of free, content-rich sessions on Industrial IoT (IIoT) topics. Taking place on 7-9 April, the six individual IIoT sessions have a common goal: to share IIoT insights and strategies that allow participants to discover new growth opportunities and accelerate digital transformation projects.

Linda Tsai, President of Advantech’s IIoT Group, says: “To provide the quick response the market needs in the AIoT [Artificial Intelligence of Things] era, Advantech offers comprehensive product solutions with numerous interoperability features. These features include data collect, data connect, and data compute and control, to reduce the risk and total cost of ownership for AIoT projects.”

Jash Bandishar, Managing Director of Advantech Europe, adds: “The AIoT will be a huge trend as the future of industrial automation lies in the convergence of AI and the IoT. This trend is going to turbocharge the IIoT on a number of levels, meaning there is a clear need to accelerate and develop AIoT ecosystem partnerships.”

The first session, taking place on 7 April from 10:00 to 11:30 CET focuses on transformative IIoT. Comprising a series of six, 15-minute webinars on individual topics, participants will gain insights to the latest IIoT technologies, discover forward-looking and vertical-oriented applications, and be inspired by real examples of how Advantech co-creates solutions with partners to land business cases across diverse industries.

Later the same day, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, attention switches to how industrial AI empowers IoT deployment. Four webinars will set out the changing role of AI from a technology to a competitive strategy for business growth. These webinars will also introduce the latest AI innovations and share AIoT deployment cases from around the world.

On 8 April (10:00-11:30 CET) the spotlight will shine on smart factory digitalization and efficiency. Participants will discover how digital transformation is fueling innovations in smart manufacturing, and share in the analysis of current developments, challenges and strategies. Actual smart factory cases will be shared to inspire participants.

The central topic for the session scheduled at 14:00 to 15:30 CET on 8 April is: sustainable energy and environment operation and maintenance. This series of informative webinars will explain how to optimize O&M management, which is critical for successful digital transformation. In addition, participants will learn about how connectivity technologies can unlock opportunities, and how a strong partner ecosystem helps to accelerate innovation.

Smart machine maintenance and prediction will form the core theme on 9 April (10:00 to 11:30 CET). These webinars will focus on machine to intelligence (M2I) and industrial AI: two of the ‘gears’ that not only drive smart manufacturing forward, but unlock its power and potential.

The IIoT sessions will draw to a close with intelligent city transportation and mobility, which is scheduled for 9 April at 14:00 to 15:30 CET. A series of six webinars will highlight booming technologies such as AI, 5G and cyber security, all of which can help transform the future of city transportation. This session will also outline key applications for the intelligent transportation system (ITS) industry.

In total, over 50 speakers will set out how transformative technologies for IIoT infrastructure can drive the evolution of factories, energy and environmental management – and vertical markets for intelligent machines – through co-created, solution-ready packages. With many webinar participants expected, key speakers will include: Aymeric Rambaud, Lead Product Manager, Actility; Linda Tsai, President – IIoT Group, Advantech; Ryan Yip, R&D Director, ASM Pacific Technology; Usman Javaid, Head of EMEA Delivery, AWS; Martin Thunman, CEO and Co-Founder, Crosser; Tom Lin, Vice President – Sales, NVIDIA Taiwan; and Suman A Sehra, Global Director – Cities & Transportation, Intel Corporation.

All webinars will remain available ‘on-demand’ beyond the scheduled dates. Visit connect.advantech.eu to view the full agenda.
