Last chance to register for The Engineering Design Show

This October (19-20),  The Engineering Design Show returns to Coventry, heralding a welcome return to in-person business events and reinforcing the value of meeting face to face for the UK’s engineering sector.  The Engineering Design Show is the UK’s only event entirely dedicated to engineering, electronics and embedded design. It is also the only design engineering event powered by Eureka, New Electronics and, new for 2021, The Engineer publications.

Exhibition

The show provides the ideal environment for design engineers to benefit from direct access to the latest products, services and innovations available to the sector. It will champion engineering heroes and there will be a dedicated area for this, highlighting the work done on the ventilator challenge.

Exhibitors include Elmo Motion Control, Heidenhan, Robafoam, Lascar Electronics, Easby Electronics, Xi Engineering, F2 Chemicals, NANUK, Powell Electronics, Phoenix Mecano, Maxon, Simms International and Arrow Devices.

Conference

A two-day conference will run in parallel to the exhibition.  Industry leaders from companies including Airbus, AMRC, IBM, McLaren, Rolls-Royce and many more will share their expert advice about their role in addressing some of society’s most pressing challenges.

The all-new ‘The Engineer Keynote Stage’ will include panel discussions and keynote addresses from Paul Stein, Chief Technology Officer, Rolls-Royce Plc and Dick Elsy, Ventilator Challenge CEO.  Other speakers include McLaren Automotive, Cranfield University, HP, and Siemens. EDS 2021 will provide visitors with unrivalled access to expert speakers exploring best practice, new design techniques and industry issues.

Workshops

Not only do visitors have access to conference presentations from the world’s top engineering companies as well as an extensive exhibition, but they can also choose from a number of workshops from organisations including Wurth Electronik and Solid State Supplies, which will provide delegates with insight into a variety of topical issues.

EDS event director Gordon Kirk said: “We are very excited to be able to present such a dynamic live event.   Delegates can select from the many fascinating conference streams and workshop presentations as well as browsing the many stands at the show.   The calibre of speakers and exhibitors is outstanding, and this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to network with the brightest and the best in the industry.”

The event will be run in accordance with Government guidance on COVID-19, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.
