E2CF is an industrial desktop 3D printer developed by Raise3D for carbon fiber-reinforced filaments and other composite materials. This IDEX equipped 3D printer is enhanced for 3D printing carbon fiber reinforced filaments through the use of new silicon carbide nozzles and Raise3D’s Dual direct Drive Extrusion system which includes a custom gear tooth profile which will firmly hold the filament. These enhancements ensure increased print stability and a more durable and long lasting, reliable solution for filled composite thermo polymer 3Dprinting.
Carbon fiber filament has low density, high strength, and it is resistant to corrosion, static electricity and high temperature. It has a wide potential for application in industries that need considerable strength-to-weight ratio in their solutions.
