Interroll holds the first Annual Member Meeting for the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) in Germany post Covid.

Sant’ Antonino, Switzerland, October 12th, 2023. After Covid it was the first officially physical EHEDG meeting which finally took place at Interroll`s Academy in Hückelhoven, Germany.

More than 70 members of EHEDG were invited to join this year’s event. The European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) is an important partner for Interroll when it comes to networking topics around hygienic engineering and the future of it.

EHEDG’s mission “is to be the leading source of hygienic design and engineering expertise, and enhance food safety and quality across the whole industry. This is the shared ambition that shapes our role in the outside world.”

Currently the association is counting more than 750 members globally including members within Europe.

Thomas Baack, Interroll`s Managing Director of the Center of Excellence Drum Motors and Hygienic Solutions, “it has been an absolute pleasure seeing so many members visiting our facilities here in Hückelhoven and being able to show the EHEDG community what Interroll is able to deliver for a better and more hygienic food processing.

At this year’s event Interroll was able to present the innovations which have been developed when it comes to hygienic conveyor technology in poultry slaughterhouses and how energy efficiency improvements can be achieved transporting and sorting meat boxes. Interroll is a proven partner when it comes to delivering drum motors and hygienic solutions and these are already in daily use at well-known food companies.
