Electrical installations and energy saving consultations for forecourt refurbishments
Little Electrical, an expert in M&E design and build packages for forecourt refurbishments and new installs, will exhibit at the Forecourt Show 2024 from stand J21. Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from April 29 to May 1, 2024, the event is the premier gathering for businesses in the UK’s forecourt and fuel market.
Little Electrical provides a unique offering in the Forecourt Show’s exhibitor line up and is the first organisation of its type to exhibit at the event. The drive for improved efficiency has never been more prominent in the petrol forecourt industry. In fact, findings from the most recent Forecourt Report revealed that independent forecourt retailers are investing nearly twice as much as non-fuel convenience stores in energy saving technology
During the Forecourt Show, the Little Electrical team will be offering no-cost desktop M&E consultations for forecourt owners. Visitors are invited to engage directly with engineers at stand J21, discovering firsthand how the organisation’s array of services can enhance forecourt operations.

At the stand, several technologies for the future forecourt will be on display. This includes a solar panel with battery energy storage system (BESS), plus an electric vehicle (EV) charger.
Little Electrical will also showcase case studies of successful projects with renowned forecourt brands, including Henderson Group, the owner of SPAR, Eurospar and ViVO stores. These include end-to-end projects that encompass everything from initial consultation to installation, testing and commissioning.

“The solution at the Newry Road SPAR involved the installation of a Logic Module, a sophisticated compact controller equipped with a cloud interface,” added King. “This technology automated the operation of lighting systems, adjusting settings based on astronomical data and seasonal changes, and therefore minimising energy consumption. The project was incredibly fast to complete, taking a team of two of our engineers just one day.”
