RÖSLER UK SHOWCASES ITS R220EC ROTARY VIBRATOR AT MACH 2024

Rösler UK will be exhibiting its impressive R220EC Rotary Vibrator mass finishing machine on stand 6-540 at the upcoming MACH 2024 exhibition, 15-19 April in Birmingham. The R220EC features an inbuilt separation system, and is ideally suited for all metal finishing applications from deburring to polishing.

Colin Spellacy, Head of Sales at Rösler UK says, “We are delighted to be at MACH 2024 this year, where the R220EC Vibratory finishing machine will feature alongside some of our post-processing technologies for additively manufactured parts, and also one of market-leading shot blasting technologies, the RMBC Tumble Belt Blast Machine. The R220EC is designed for processing batch parts, and can be used for surface preparation prior to power coating or anodising; deburring machined parts – particularly cut holes; radiusing (taking off a sharp edges on machined components and adding a radius or chamfer); and providing a consistent surface finish, blending machine lines or cleaning up a rough casting. It can also be used for polishing using organic media or polishing pins to create a bright reflective surface finish in any metal.”

Rotary vibrators have been used for deburring, grinding, cleaning, polishing, and descaling as well as many other surface processing methods for many years, and they can be used to process almost any material including metal, plastic, ceramics, rubber, wood, and even glass. Rösler’s EC series is characterised by an innovative work bowl shape which has a relatively shallow, quarter turn incline of the processing channel which allows optimal processing and separation of small and delicate parts or large volumes of bulky parts. An integrated screening device makes the separation of the work pieces from the grinding media convenient and process safe.

Spellacy continues, “Over our 80-plus year history we have amassed a huge amount of knowledge and expertise, and this feeds into our rotary vibrators which we build to have the longest possible service life. To achieve this, we place particular importance on functional design, high-quality materials, and the highest quality of workmanship. The R220EC can be operated either as a stand-alone solution or as part of a fully automatic linked system, and its highly effective parts processing capabilities reduce the finishing cost per unit. Rösler has developed and manufactured a vibratory drive motor used in the R220EC with an efficiency of about 90% which is durable and requires little maintenance therefore keeping running costs low.”

MACH 2024 visitors are invited to come and see Rösler’s traditional and AM finishing solutions on stand 6-540, and to discuss with the team how the company’s blend of advanced technical capabilities, extensive industry knowledge, and commitment to innovation can enhance their manufacturing endeavours.
