Optimas Achieves 2025 Sustainability Goals Two Years Early

Optimas, a global provider of industrial fasteners and supply chain solutions, has surpassed its year-end 2025 sustainability targets two years ahead of schedule, highlighting the company’s leadership in environmental responsibility.

For the reporting period of 2023, Optimas achieved:

  • 17.5% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, exceeding 2025 targets, enabled by renewable energy procurement and enhanced refrigerant management.
  • 14.9% reduction in Scope 3 emissions intensity, outperforming initial projections for 2025 through a combination of emissions reductions and revenue growth.

These results place Optimas on an accelerated path toward its ambitious long-term goals:

  • 55% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, achieving net-zero by 2037.
  • 51.6% reduction in Scope 3 emissions intensity by 2030, achieving net-zero by 2050.

“By reaching these milestones two years early, we’re proving that bold sustainability goals are achievable,” said Mike Tuffy, CEO, International.

Daniel Harms, CEO, Americas, added, “This progress strengthens our ability to deliver value to customers while leading the way in sustainable supply chain practices.”

Optimas remains focused on implementing its decarbonisation roadmap, which includes supplier collaboration, low-carbon transport solutions and global employee engagement.
