Advantech, a global leader in industrial edge computing and edge AI technologies, will showcase its latest embedded solutions at Northern Europe’s largest industrial event, Teknologia 2025, taking place from 4 to 6 November in Helsinki, Finland.
At booth 6g80, Advantech will present a portfolio of high-performance edge computing platforms and AI modules designed to accelerate innovation in energy, robotics, automation, mission-critical systems and transportation. Visitors will discover how Advantech’s teams and solutions provide local support to R&D teams, engineers and product managers in building smarter, more reliable and scalable industrial applications.

Highlights on display will include:
- The ARK-1222: part of Advantech’s new DIN-rail edge computer lineup, offering ultra-compact, fanless performance for industrial environments. Built to withstand demanding conditions, it combines rugged durability with intelligent software integration, enabling seamless monitoring, remote management, and enhanced cybersecurity for next-generation edge applications.
- The AOM-5721: a SMARC-based Arm Computer-on-Module featuring the Qualcomm® QCS6490 chipset. This AI-powered module delivers i3-class performance and up to 12 TOPS of AI inference with only 12W TDP, offering the space efficiency and low power consumption required for demanding Edge AI applications.
- A live real-time object detection demo, using the Advantech AOM-2721 Development Kit, also based on the Qualcomm® QCS6490 chipset. Running on Ubuntu 24.04, the demo showcases object recognition accelerated by the Qualcomm Hexagon™ NPU, achieving up to 30 FPS when running PyTorch based YOLOv8 model for efficient, low-power inference at the edge. With 8-core Kryo CPU performance and 12 TOPS AI compute, the platform demonstrates how developers can quickly deploy AI applications for smart mobility, industrial automation and robotics.
Jonas Appelgren, Senior Key Account Manager at Advantech, comments: “Teknologia is the leading meeting place for industrial innovation in the Nordics. We look forward to demonstrating how Advantech’s edge computing and AI portfolio, backed by our strong local support, helps customers tackle challenges in robotics, automation and mission-critical systems.”
