Lunatone power supplies for intelligent lighting control

TME has added LED driver-supplies from the brand Lunatone. This Austrian company is a leader in the field of intelligent lighting control, specializing in solutions based on the DALI protocol (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface). The company offers a wide range of innovative products for automation and efficient lighting management in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

The products presented are available in many formats: for installation in fixtures, mounting in junction boxes, attachment to DIN rails, and even for flush-mount installation. They allow for scaling and upgrading an existing lighting system, as well as creating one from scratch. The devices are adapted for smart building and interfaces used in automation systems.

Minimal size, maximum possibilities

Model 89453762-350 is a 3W LED power supply, designed for mounting in a flush-mount box or directly in ceiling fixtures. Like most of the manufacturer’s solutions, it supports the DALI-2 bus. It is powered directly from the mains (220…240V AC) and operates as a constant current (CC) source at 350mA. It has integrated short-circuit and thermal protections, offering full galvanic safety.

Any configuration

The two-channel, programmable dimmer 89453838 compatible with DALI-2. Delivers input current up to 10A. It is a power supply/controller designed for lighting emitted from suspended ceilings, and can also be mounted directly in lighting fixtures. It controls CW–WW (cold–warm white, so-called tunable white lighting) strips using a single DALI DT8 address or alternative modes. Operates in installations from 12…48 V DC.

Centralized installations

Model 89453832-HS is a 4-channel LED dimmer with independent PWM outputs, each with its own DALI address (DT6). As it is designed for mounting on a DIN rail, it allows centralized control of lighting in a distribution box. Alternatively, it can be used to control RGBW LED elements (e.g., multicolored strips with a white light option). Supports SwitchDim2 mode, i.e., control using 2 buttons (on/off adjustment + arrangement selection), for which a DALI bus is not required.
