We are delighted to announce the launch of our Toolmaking & Tooling Technologies event, which will take place on 14th May 2026 at the prestigious Yamazaki Mazak European Technology Centre in Worcester.

This specialist one-day event will showcase the very latest innovations with Injection Mould & Press toolmaking, tooling technologies, and precision engineering, bringing together leading suppliers, buyers, and manufacturers from across the UK.

Building on GTMA’s heritage of supporting UK manufacturing since 1942, the Toolmaking & Tooling Technologies event will provide a unique platform for:

HellermannTyton Ltd

Michael started work with HellermannTyton in Manchester in 1999, as a Toolmaker Apprentice, working in combination with Tameside College.   In 2024 he was asked to take over the role of Tooling Manager, which means that he is now responsible for all tooling activity (Not just the toolroom) for HellermannTyton Manchester, and he also works closely with their Global team.

HellermannTyton has been manufacturing cable management products in Wythenshawe, Manchester since 1933, firstly as the Insuloid Manufacturing Company, and amalgamating with the Paul Hellermann company in 1964.

They are a Global leader in the manufacture of cable management products, primarily working with injection and extrusion moulding.

In Manchester they make over 100 million cable management products a week, which are shipped to their German facility near Hamburg, before distribution globally.

Sectors they service are: Automotive, Aerospace, Construction, Chemical, Defence, Electrical, Off-Shore, Rail, Solar, Telecommunications, White goods, Wind Turbines, food.
