Temporary power solutions provider Star Power has opened a new depot in Avonmouth, near Bristol, strengthening support for customers across the South West.
The new site brings together operations previously based in Portishead into a single, larger facility, improving safety and service delivery.

Located close to the M5 motorway, the depot provides strong transport links, enabling faster response times across the region. The new facility also includes expanded workshop space, modern offices, improved welfare areas, and a larger external yard to support storage and logistics.

The Avonmouth depot strengthens operational capability across the South West and forms part of Star Power’s continued investment in its national network, which includes depots in Kent and Warrington.
Star Power is a temporary power solutions specialist with the capability and capacity to provide full service and bespoke power support on an emergency and planned basis across the country. Services include generator hire, sales, and maintenance, as well as the latest Stage V generators.
Star Power also delivers related services, including water and fuel bowser hire, engineering design consultancy, and distribution board manufacture. It works strategically with its sister company, Star Platforms, a powered access hire specialist, to maximise value for all customers.
