The shortlist has been announced for the UK Export Excellence Awards featuring companies throughout the UK.
Grant Collier, spokesman from the organisers Hennik Research and Global Trade Review said ‘it is great to see that there are so many UK exporters continuing to lead the way through export excellence. If there is any chance of meeting the Chancellor’s target of £1 trillion a year by 2020 it has to come from encouraging and recognising exemplars like those that have entered the UK Export Excellence Awards’.
The awards categories are; Best First Time Exporter, Supply Chain Excellence, Export Excellence to Sub Saharan Africa, Export Excellence to MENA Region, Export Excellence to Asia Pacific, Export Excellence to Europe, Export Excellence to Americas, Innovation in Exporting, Best use of UK Export Finance.

The shortlist is currently being judged by an expert panel and the winners will be presented with their awards at a glittering gala dinner in the historic St George’s Hall, Liverpool on 15 June, as part of the International Festival for Business (IFB2016).
