Last Chance to Register for The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo @TheManufacturer @GCollier_TM @TMMXAwards

As The Manufacturer Live series of events kicks off in Birmingham 1-3 November, all engineers are urged to register to attend free The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo running alongside the Advanced Engineering Show.
The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo and the accompanying TM Annual Leaders Conference will guide manufacturers in how to succeed in the transition to the smart factory as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

A strong network between IT and mechanical and electrical engineering is needed so that well informed, knowledgeable decisions can be made in order to safeguard the UK manufacturing businesses of the future.  Only companies who are willing to invest in modern automation and digitalised technologies will be at the head of the pack in this digital race.

Head of Exhibitions at The Manufacturer, Adrian Sell, says ‘It is vital that the manufacturing sector truly understands the reality and implications of Industry 4.0, in all parts of the business; from the boardroom to the factory floor. The interest in what Industry 4.0 technology can do for UK manufacturing is evident in the speed of adoption across manufacturing, and not only in specific sectors such as automotive as we have seen in the past”.

Many solutions are already available and world leaders will come together at TM Smart Factory Expo to display over 100 application examples. TM Smart Factory Expo is the only meeting place where CEOs, MDs, corporate management, management planning departments. CTOs, plant managers, production technology managers, CIOs and information systems managers can source the cutting edge technologies needed to drive their businesses forward.

These annual events form part of The Manufacturer Live series taking place this week 1 – 3 November at The NEC, Birmingham, and comprise; The Manufacturer Top 100, The Manufacturer MX Awards, The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo and The Manufacturer Annual Leaders Conference. In addition, TM Smart Factory Expo will take place alongside the Advanced Engineering Show offering engineers a strong reason to attend.

The Manufacturer Top 100  list, developed by The Manufacturer and judged by a panel of leading industry experts, aims to champion and identify dynamic leaders in manufacturing and promote role models who will encourage young people into this vibrant and rewarding sector.

Following an unprecedented high number of nominations and more than a month of judging deliberation, our panel of expert judges have made the final decision on The Manufacturer Top 100 2016.

The results of the list will be announced at The Manufacturer Top 100 event on 1 November, at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery where shortlisted candidates will arrive from all corners of the country to join the celebrations. The event brings together the crème de la crème of British manufacturing from business leaders and academia to government, to mark the outstanding achievements of the shortlisted candidates.
