How bright or loud are the products? – New performance index
To make selection of the right product as simple as possible a new performance index has been introduced in the new catalogue. The brightness and loudness indices use data from WERMA’s extensive test data and take into account the very subjective nature of scaling such data. This is especially important because of the inherent difficulties in establishing a universal standard for, for example, brightness. A moving light, for example, has a higher recognition factor to the eye than a static light. Similarly, certain variable or pulse tones will have a higher recognition factor than a permanent tone. The performance index allows you to make the most appropriate choice for your application.
