Have you heard about the new Product Design and Manufacturing Collection? As of the 7th August 2017, Autodesk have adapted and extended the Product Design Collection, to provide new product entitlements to HSM Ultimate for Integrated CAM and Nastran In-CAD for Integrated Simulation.
Existing Product Design Collection customers will automatically be upgraded to the new Collection gaining access to FREE CAM and FREE Simulation software.
If you’re an existing HSM or Nastran In-CAD customer, at your next renewal date, you will be provided with the new Product Design & Manufacturing Collection (PDMC), providing you access to far more value at a lower subscription price.
When considering the PDMC please remember:
- Nastran In-CAD will no longer be available as standalone subscription
- HSM will no longer be available as standalone subscription
- Current subscribers will be migrated to the PDMC later this year
- If on maintenance plan, consider the switch to subscription program
Many will pose the question, why should we invest in this software over any other CAD/CAM packages? With the PDMC, you will have access to:
- A Fully integrated CAD/CAM/CAE Solution
- An easy-to-user interface
- CAM & Simulation software at no extra cost
If you intend to realise the value gained from this additional functionality, it is critical to ensure that your Autodesk reseller has the skills to develop posts for HSM and advise wisely on the use of Nastran In-CAD to get accurate test and validation results.
