XYZ Machine Tools will celebrate the opening of its new southern England showroom in Slough with an open day event on the 12th July with doors open between 9am and 3pm. Visitors will see a selection of 14 machines from XYZ’s extensive machine tool range, including the ever popular ProtoTRAK controlled mils and lathes, a mix of Linear Rail (LR) and Heavy-Duty (HD) vertical machining centres, plus two turning centres, one with y-axis capability.
The showroom is located at 944 Yeovil Road, Slough, SL1 4NH and has undergone a full refurbishment to bring it to the standard of XYZ’s other four showrooms across England and replaces the Waltham Abbey site, which had been outgrown by the company. “We took our time in finding what we considered to be the right location for this new showroom, taking into account the amount of time people are willing to travel to see a machine demonstration,” says Nigel Atherton, Managing Director, XYZ Machine Tools. “Slough is easily accessible by car, with much of Kent, Essex, Sussex and Dorset within 2 hours away and, when Crossrail opens travel by train will provide an even easier option, with the Crossrail station just a few minutes away.”
With this new showroom added to those in Blackburn, Sheffield, Nuneaton, and Devon, XYZ Machine Tools estimates that customers are never more than 2.5 hours away from a machine demonstration, wherever they work in England. A fact that is unique to XYZ in terms of machine tool sales. Anyone wishing to attend the open day is asked to e-mail XYZ Machine Tools at [email protected] in order that numbers can be managed for catering purposes.
