London, 26 September 2018: Specialist engineering and construction insurer HSB Engineering Insurance (HSB), part of Munich Re, has appointed John Nicholls and Jamie Talbot to new roles within the business.
John Nicholls has been appointed as Construction Product Lead within the Underwriting Strategy and Standards team. He joined HSB in 2005 as an Underwriting Assistant and was promoted to Underwriting Manager for the Central Region in 2012. John brings with him over 15 years of strong industry experience, which is an asset to the development and implementation of the underwriting strategy. He will report to Andy Bazley, Underwriting Strategy Manager.
Jamie Talbot has been appointed as Regional Underwriting Manager for Central and South. Previously, he worked in Underwriting for RSA before joining HSB in 2009 as an Assistant Underwriter and later progressing to Senior Underwriter in 2016. Having spent 12 years in the insurance industry, Jamie has gained a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise that will aid HSB in the continuing growth and advancement of the Central and South team. Jamie will report to Rob King, Regional Manager for Central and South.
