Safety relays for all applications

Optimum protection for humans and machine is important. That is why safety technology is now a high priority in the construction of machinery and plant. MIRO SAFE+ safety relays from Murrelektronik are the right solution for achieving high technical safety standards and for accomplishing Performance Level e (PLe) as defined in EN 13849-1.

MIRO SAFE+ safety relays deliver unusually high performance. Take the MIRO SAFE+ Switch H L 24 for example – a seriously impressive all-rounder. This module suits many applications including EMERGENCY STOP, safety door, light grid and magnetic switches. It comprises three NO switches and one NC switch. It can be used with and without start button monitoring.

MIRO SAFE+ Switch H 48-230 is the allrounder with a wide-voltage input. This safety relay for applications with 48…230 V AC, for example also for the American market, is suitable for EMERGENCY STOP and safety door monitoring applications, either with or without start button monitoring.

Time management tasks are handled by MIRO SAFE+ T 1 24. This module is ideally suited for applications involving instantaneous as well as delayed contacts. Delays of up to 30 seconds can be set individually. Also, this relay is unusually compact, measuring just 22.5 millimeters in width. MIRO SAFE+ T 2 24 has two time-delayed contacts and measures 45 millimeters in width.

MIRO SAFE+ Switch ECOA 24 also embodies a minimalist design. It is suitable for applications involving safety doors, EMERGENCY STOP switches and light grids, and is fitted with screw terminals. This module is a good alternative when no monitored start button is required.

The great advantages of safety relays from the MIRO SAFE+ range are: Clear assignment with designation labels, LED status indicators on the front of the relay, flexible usage options with On/Off cross-circuit recognition, smooth connection with plug-in spring-clamp terminals with quick connector action and encoding elements that ensure that terminals are not fitted the wrong way round.
