Schneider Electric invite members of the Made in the Midlands community for a tour of their Coventry Innovation Centre

Schneider Electric, Coventry – 19th March – Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, is hosting more than 40 Made in the Midlands members in its innovation centre to celebrate success and innovation in the manufacturing community. 

 

The Made in the Midlands group brings together some of the most innovative and advanced companies that manufacture in the Midlands. The event will showcase recent Schneider Electric technology and will offer visitors the chance for a tour of the innovation centre – offering invaluable insight into the benefits of Schneider’s solutions.

 

Key discussions on the day will include:

 

  • The importance of Made in the Midlands – for businesses to learn about their peers own work in the industry, network and improve efficiencies within their own business
  • The rise of a smarter Industry 4.0 – with insight into how new technologies such as big data, machine learning and the cloud have altered factory efficiency and maintenance. Discussions will also touch upon how this will impact what the future factory looks like
  • How Schneider Electric is utilising IIoT technologies – including how emerging technology has altered the way Schneider Electric works in the manufacturing space
