MBA Engineering launches transport business

Supplier of leading laser cutting and metal fabrication equipment, MBA Engineering, has launched a new transport business to offer comprehensive machine move and installation services, following increased demand from manufacturers.

MBA Transport will specialise in decommissioning, transporting and installing a wide-range of factory equipment for customers in the UK as well as internationally.

Headed up by Shane Hudson, MBA Transport has the flexibility of being able to move machinery quickly and effectively thanks to its DAF CF 460, flatbed 32-rigid truck, which is capable of carrying up to 44,000kg with a trailer. This is complemented by a Fassi 660 crane, which can lift, remove and install machinery and equipment big and small, including CNC, Millers lathes, press brakes, waterjets and everything in between.

Bradley McBain, managing director of MBA Engineering, said: “Our mission at MBA Engineering is to always enhance the range of services and support we can offer to our customers, in order to make the running of their businesses easier. This commitment to our clients, along with our considerable recent growth, have led to us establishing MBA Transport.

“The team’s experience in moving machinery of all shapes and sizes is second to none – whether you need equipment moving a few yards or require a full factory relocation, Shane and the team will provide a one-stop-shop machinery moving solution, alongside unrivalled levels of service.”
