Centriforce puts on show of strength at Utility Week Live

Centriforce will be showcasing new and time-proven solutions from its damage prevention range at Utility Week Live. Taking centre stage will be the innovative Stokbord® Drum installation system, being unveiled for the first time to the industry.

The Stokbord Drum system puts damage prevention projects on the fast-track, enabling  Stokbord Cover to be installed across a large area with minimal intervention – creating an environment of lower risk to operatives by reducing their time in the trench – and at the same time taking the strain out of the installation process.

This reduction in manual handling also leads to a faster installation process and lower labour costs.

Stokbord Cover tiles are renowned for offering outstanding safety and efficiency benefits, providing a high visibility and exceptionally high impact method of damage prevention to high voltage electricity, telecoms and fibre optic cables, as well as water and gas mains.

From their stand number E48 at the NEC event, Centriforce will also demonstrate established products from its range, which are renowned for their longevity and service to utility companies worldwide.

This includes Tapetile® high protection warning tape. Tapetile can be used to mark and identify all utilities whilst also offering a degree of mechanical protection against damage.

And also joining the line-up is Locata® tape and mesh, which provide a highly visible solution to mark and identify buried utilities. Locata tape and mesh are also available with a steel tracer wire running through the entire length and can be detected prior to excavation using cable avoidance tools and signal generators.

Jonathan Pearce, Head of Sales at Centriforce said: “We pride ourselves in offering products and services of choice to the utilities sector in areas where safety and protection from damage really matter.

“We look forward to showing our current range to visitors and introducing the new Stokbord Drum system, which is the latest of our design innovations to deliver exceptional benefits in terms of safety and speed out on site”.

“Our clients can also be assured that we can help them meet their sustainability goals due to the fact that all the products in our range are manufactured from recycled plastic.

“This delivers significant environmental benefits with no compromise on outstanding protection and functionality.”
