Delta Electronics Appoints Dalip Sharma as President and Regional Head for Delta Electronics Europe, Middle East & Africa Region

Delta, a global provider of power and thermal management solutions, has appointed Dalip Sharma to the role
of President & Regional Head for Delta Electronics Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region. Mr. Sharma
will be responsible for enhancing Delta’s growing presence in EMEA, a key region for Delta’s worldwide
business development. He is based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, home to Delta EMEA’s headquarters.


Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Sharma stated: “My vision for Delta EMEA is to further develop its
status as a provider of IoT-based Smart Green Solutions developed to drive energy efficiency and lower
carbon emissions in cities across EMEA. To realise that vision, I believe that we can leverage Delta’s
formidable global resources to further accelerate the company’s growth and success across EMEA.”

opportunities, they are also among its most complex. Mr. Sharma’s vision is to work with Delta’s internal and
external partners to implement strategies and local-market focus tailored to the needs of each territory, as
they are strategic for Delta’s future growth.

successfully to the needs of customers in EMEA, by localizing products and tailoring support to suit the
market’s requirements. To ensure Delta’s competiveness in the EMEA region, another key priority for Mr.
Sharma will be to nurture innovation and agility within Delta, in order to respond to an ever-changing and
evolving market and business landscape.

Mr. Sharma is an Electronics and Communications engineering professional with more than 27 years of
experience and success in business execution, management and strategic development. His wealth of
experience has been gained from working with pioneering companies prior to joining Ascom Energy Systems
in 1999. Mr. Sharma joined Delta in 2003, when it acquired Ascom Energy Systems. In his previous role, Mr.
Sharma acted as Managing Director of Delta India, and successfully led the company to become the market
leader in various business areas by consistently delivering a strong performance over the years.
Mr. Sharma was appointed to the role of President & Regional Head for Delta Electronics Europe, Middle
East & Africa Region due to his proven and exceptional leadership qualities, and the pivotal role he has
played in the continued success and development of the organization. Delta is confident that his skills and
