Foremost Electronics, the engineering-led Essex based importer and specialist distributor of electromechanical components, will be using their presence at the Engineering Design Show this year to celebrate 30 years of Electronic Component sales in the UK.
Birthday cakes will be given to visitors on the first day of the show and a competition will run both days with a prize of a bottle of celebratory champagne for the lucky winner.
Foremost Electronics Ltd was founded in 1989 as a direct importer and specialist distributor of switches, keypads, joysticks, connectors and other electro-mechanical products. They now represent a truly global supplier base of more than 20 manufacturers from around the world, having strong partnerships with market leaders including Schroff, NKK Switches, Binder, Thermodisc and Elma.
Their portfolio specialises on the E-Mech sector and includes products suitable for extreme conditions including Military and Aerospace and also commercial grade components for less arduous applications.
Featured on the Foremost stand at EDS 2019 will be;
- The most comprehensive suite of online tools to configure the extensive range of enclosures available from market leading manufacturer, Schroff. Two videos help users design, add features and produce CAD files. Starting with a Digital Empowerment Overview to achieve fast results users progress to understanding the world’s 1st Online 3D Subrack Configurator and Cad File generator . This intuitive, simple to use tool provides a proven solution and all relevant documentation (30 native CAD Files, 3D & 2D Drawings, BOM) required to buy a bespoke enclosure solution.
- Newly available from Foremost is the Neutrik range of power, waterproof,
and fiber optic connection systems aimed at industrial markets. These world renown products are widely used by OEMs and systems integrators
- The continually growing range of Icotek cable entry and EMC cable shielding systems will be on display and will include their brand new IMAS Connect products and more from their range of ATEX and railway cable entry systems, cable entry frames and glands for cables with connectors fitted, cable entry plates for cables without connectors, brush cable pass-throughs, strain relief and cable management, EMC cable shield clamps and the CONFIX cable conduit system.
- New arrivals to Foremost’s core product range include new switches from MEC and Elma and a new IP Joystick series HF and HS.
In recent years Foremost have extensively expanded their premises by an additional 10,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space to accommodate the growth in Schroff Pentair products, provide bonded warehousing for customers and increase their stock of connectors for electric vehicles.
Foremost have embraced e-commerce with the launch of micro web shops for Enclosures and vertical markets IP Joysticks and Rotary Switches, all part of the Foremost range of Buy-Online product shops for product specific and vertical markets.
Key markets for Foremost now include, audio and broadcast, security, communications and telecoms, electric vehicles, railway industry, instrumentation, medical electronics, defence and aerospace, power, automotive, marine electronics and domestic appliances.
