DARMSTADT, Germany – September 25, 2019 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has updated its wintotal software, designed to simplify printing on heat-shrink sleeves, cable markers and labels. Used in conjunction with TE hardware (product, printer and ribbon), Wintotal v7 creates a high-quality identification asset that can be used in harsh environments. It replaces wintotal v6.
“Wintotal v7 next-generation software is even better at enabling the customer to design and print on TE Ident products using computers running Windows 10,” says Product Manager Philippe Contri. “The user can see exactly how the label will look before they print it. Over 2,500 standard TE Identification products are pre-installed, there is a clip art gallery included with commonly used symbols, and images can also be imported to accompany the text.”
Wintotal v7 can also create barcodes and QR codes. It comes with 13 languages preloaded. Wintotal v7 can be installed using a license key or a USB dongle, a quick install guide is provided with every purchase. In addition, technical support for all identification products is provided by TE’s dedicated product and printer teams around the world, as well as from the company’s technical center in Swindon, UK.
