REHAU is exhibiting both its RAUTITAN and RAUPIANO pipework systems at the upcoming Modular Matters Conference & Exhibition 2019 in Birmingham’s National Conference Centre on the 22 October.
Modular Matters is a one-day event dedicated to showcasing the latest innovations and case studies in offsite construction. Not only will the RAUTITAN and RAUPIANO be demonstrated for the attendees, but visitors to the event will also have the opportunity to learn more about REHAU’s wider product range, designed and used for easy and efficient installation in modular and offsite applications.
Visitors to REHAU’s stand will see the RAUTITAN pipework solution, which comprises polymer pipes and compression sleeve joints. RAUTITAN is arguably the quickest and most reliable joint to install currently available on the market, making it ideal for offsite construction where emphasis is placed on manufacturing efficiencies, ROI and longevity.
The RAUPIANO acoustic soil and waste solution will be making its return to Modular Matters, an acoustic soil and waste system which offers a patented structure, market-leading 17dB acoustic performance and up to three times quicker to install than standard PVC pipes.
Modular Matters will also be the first time REHAU’s Two-Part Retrofit Window Sill will be unveiled at a show. The two-part configuration of the product allows for the sill’s nose to be fitted at the end of the construction process, eliminating the risk of damage in transit and during installation associated with one-piece solutions. Once the sill is clipped into place, it is completely secure, reducing the risk of snapping and the need for subsequent repair work after installation.
The Two-Part Sill also affords fabricators, installers, builders and developers complete flexibility throughout the design and building process. This eliminates any restrictions or damage that may come with the installation of traditional window sills, while the product’s built in drainage channel ensures that any water that does get into the window is drained away without causing any damage to the building’s brickwork.
“Offsite technology and modular construction are a significant part of the construction industry’s output,” says Drew Clough, Product Manager for Heating and Plumbing at REHAU UK. “Investment coming into the industry now is at a high level and government policy in favour of offsite manufacturing is further driving this kind of innovative construction method.
“The housing crisis that we find ourselves in requires this kind of offsite manufacturing and volumetric modular construction to efficiently construct durable and safe buildings.” He adds, “At REHAU we are committed to innovating products that support these modern methods of construction.”
