Lennox has recently expanded its eCOMFORT portfolio with new models ranging from 170 to 400 kW*.
Using R32 refrigerant, these additions will allow customers to achieve greater energy efficiency while
reducing the environmental impact.
Minimizing operating and maintenance costs
Chillers are often energy intensive, so the more efficient a system can be, the greater the overall cost
savings for the end user. The premium eCOMFORT chillers are designed with latest technologies and offer
market-leading energy efficiency. The total modulation for instance enable significant energy savings through
perfect adjustment of air (EC fans) and water flow (inverter on water pump – eDrive) – and refrigerant control
(variable speed compressor).
The eCOMFORT range offers high seasonal efficiency exceeding Ecodesign 2021 tiers (ɳs,c > 161% and
SEER > 4.10 for comfort cooling; SEPR > 5.0 for process cooling) and features unique capabilities such as
performance drift management and remote parameter setting – which can dramatically reduce energy bills.
In addition, the Lennox eCOMFORT chillers can be easily monitored, operated, and maintained using
Lennox Cloud; a real-time connectivity and visualization platform that enables remote controlling, adjustment,
and diagnostics by Lennox experts. Its use of remote diagnostics and software updates, and predictive
maintenance schedules, increase reliability and reduce the need for engineer call-outs.
Sustainability in focus
Limiting the emissions of greenhouse gasses has become a priority in the HVAC industry. Being phased
down under the EU F-Gas regulation, the transition from R410A to lower GWP refrigerants is happening.
Lennox eCOMFORT is the first inverter scroll chiller for use with R32.
R32 is an obvious choice to replace R410A. It already makes up 50% of its composition and outperforms
alternatives like R452B, R454B and R466A in terms affordability.
The change towards more environmentally friendly solutions is not only driven by the regulations and the
