Using connectors in switch cabinets was, until recently, a complex challenge which required substantial effort. However, using the Han-Eco® B, you can now pre-assemble and rear mount the inserts into the housing from the rear, rather than the traditional method of installing cables through the bulkhead before assembling the contact inserts. This method not only saves time and money, it also gives you the flexibility to pre-assemble the switch cabinet units and cable harnesses separately.

HARTING has recognised and responded to this issue by producing the Han® 1A, a compact interface which requires up to 30% less space than the Han® 3A.
Much like the PushPull, it employs a system of modular inserts, making it extremely versatile. As a plug-in connection consisting of a maximum of twelve different contacts, it provides an efficient solution for connecting tools and smaller machine modules such as heating and cooling units, fans, control terminals, drives and vibration conveyors.
