The MWN hot water meter is designed for larger/commercial applications, with a size range of 20mm to 300mm and a maximum working temperature of 130°C!
This design of a Woltmann water meter with a 2” BSP union connection is unique to the MWN range, from 40mm up to 300mm a PN16 flanged connection is supplied as standard, and for the 500mm the option of a BSP union connection is available.
Need to read remotely? No problem! By adding a pulse kit the output ratios can vary between 10 litres per pulse and 100 litres per pulse, as the sizes of the meter are increased, but all models can be changed to meet ratio requirements from 10 litres per pulse up to 1000 litres per pulse. Just like the JS and JSC ranges from PoWogaz, an M-Bus output is also available giving the MWN the suitability to be used on either a wired or wireless M-Bus network.
A huge benefit of the choosing MWN range is thanks to their impeller style measuring system, which enables the meters to be used in both horizontal and vertical pipework. The MWN range are all MID approved, meaning they are suitable to be used in billing installations.
