A national apprenticeship and training provider who have been supporting business for half a century will be sharing their expertise and knowledge at the East Midlands Engineering Expo which will be held in April 2020.
Established in 1969 Northamptonshire Industrial Training Association Limited (NITAL) have trained thousands of individuals across a range of engineering, manufacturing and business disciplines through both apprenticeships and bespoke training programmes.
“We are delighted to announce that NITAL will be sharing our expertise and knowledge at what is an exciting and important Expo for everyone across the engineering sector.” said Neil Withey CEO at NITAL.
“Everybody within the NITAL organisation strives to ensure that all persons undertaking a training and development programme are given the necessary guidance and support to achieve their full potential.” he continued. “That is why we are playing a part at this event which is key to highlighting and showcasing the very best of what the UK has to offer.”
The East Midlands Engineering Expo 2020 will be held at the Kettering Conference Centre on Wednesday 15th April 2020. It will showcase some of the best businesses within the industries, it is a business to business event to help build and maintain long-term business relationships bringing together clients, contractors, consultants and many more across the country.
“The East Midlands Engineering Expo will be excellent platform to build and maintain relationships for professionals within the Electrical, Mechanical and Construction industry.” said Kerry Bate from Polka Dot Events who are managing the Expo. “The purpose of the event will be to facilitate knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration between sellers and buyers.”
“Research has shown that around £1.2 billion has been “wasted” on ‘fake apprenticeships’ Neil Withey from NITAL continued. “These have taken up half of all starts since the Governments apprenticeship levy was introduced in May 2017. This is one reason why we’ll be sharing the importance or properly training and preparing the workforce of tomorrow.”
