PAGABO ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF £500M PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FRAMEWORK

THE PROVIDERS for the remaining 18 lots of Pagabo’s Professional Services Framework have been announced.

Launching in April, the second generation of the Professional Services Framework covers projects up to £500m. It will see 77 providers split across 18 service specific lots in seven geographical regions, including civil, structural and highways engineering, building services, landscaping and building surveying.

Several new lots have been introduced for 2020, including heritage, town & master planning and fire engineering. Faithful+Gould was announced as the Lot 1 provider in January.

Dominating the awards are major companies such as WSP UK Ltd and Pick Everard, which have been appointed to 14 and 12 lots respectively, across all seven geographical regions.

New appointments to the framework for 2020 include AECOM, RSK Environment Ltd and Mace.

Simon Toplass, CEO at Pagabo, said: “We were blown away by the number of responses to the tender for this second iteration of our Professional Services framework. It’s been a hugely competitive process due to the record number of applications from well over 200 individual providers.

“The current generation of the framework has enabled close to 700 projects since its inception and is on track to reach its upper limit of £200m. Furthermore, over £141m of social value has been enabled to date.”

To be considered for Pagabo’s Professional Services framework, providers were required to go through a rigorous OJEU compliant tender process, prove strong finances and relevant experience. As well as this, providers on Pagabo frameworks are required to share the company’s passion for social value and technology.

“This framework forms another crucial part of the Pagabo ecosystem and from the applications received it’s clear to see that our innovative way of working, the support we offer both clients and suppliers and our commitment to social value for the communities we serve is resonating with others in the industry and continuing to drive our success.”

As part of Pagabo’s ongoing commitment to supporting SMEs and ensuring them access to major projects, 38 SMEs have been appointed across multiple lots, including Mason Clark Associates Ltd, Concertus Design and Property Consultants Ltd and rehba.

Simon continued: “We are already working closely with the providers appointed to both this Professional Services framework and our recently announced Major Works framework contractors at our mobilisation sessions throughout the country. The demand for both frameworks from SMEs to large, nationwide companies, has been down to our continued mission to simplify the procurement process through the use of technology and innovation.”

The second generation of the Professional Services framework will run for four years, becoming active from April 2020.

The framework’s first iteration has delivered projects for clients including; Southampton City Council, Anchor 2020 Ltd, Department of Health, Manchester City Council, Northumberland City Council, Humber Foundation NHS Trust and Leeds Becket University.
