Coronavirus is changing the way we live our everyday lives, putting strain on many industries and seeing stock markets plummet. In these uncertain times, Altus Group is working hard with its suppliers to ensure it’s ‘business as usual’.As a leading distributor of capital equipment, Altus works closely with principle suppliers around the globe to bring capital equipment to the UK electronics industry. In these unprecedented times, Altus is working around the clock to keep on track with robust plans in place to ensure customers receive capital equipment on time and provide the excellent service the company is renowned for.
“These are very difficult times for everyone, but we are working closely with our suppliers to operate as normally as possible,” said Mike Todd, Operations Manager.
“We have a number of systems in place to ensure our customers still receive the best service possible, this is of paramount importance to us. Having moved to larger premises last year we have an improved warehouse facility. We now have a wider range of stock ready for next day delivery. With everything from spares to cleaning chemistries we have the products ready and waiting should our customers need them.
“Our engineers are still visiting customers to provide technical help and advice. Alternatively we have set up a one to one remote support service where our technicians can help customers virtually with problems or queries.
“Importantly, we will continue to work closely with our suppliers and maintain a focus on the service and support that every Altus customer regularly receives,” concluded Mike.
