‘Check & Detect’ specialists, LOMA SYSTEMS®, has appointed Ivor Milne as a new Regional Sales Manager for Scotland.
In moving into an existing position, Ivor brings many years of engineering experience, having worked for leading food manufacturers in Scotland and more recently with global coding and marking equipment supplier, Markem-Imaje UK, as a Sales Engineer. He will report to Loma’s International Sales & Service Director, Ian Craig.
Commenting on the appointment, Ian said: “We are delighted to welcome Ivor to the team. He will be instrumental in helping us improve food production, quality, effectiveness and safety, as well using his hands-on engineering background to understand our Scottish customers’ current challenges and product inspection needs.”
“I’m really looking forward to the role and getting to know my customers,” said Ivor. “I am fortunate to have had a good insight into the food industry and the rules and regulations relating to manufacturing, so I’ll be well placed to understand many of the issues faced by customers and what solutions to recommend.”
