New After Market Services Manager joins Danfoss Drives

Leading AC drive solutions company Danfoss Drives has announced a new senior appointment for its UK team. Alun Roberts will join the business as After Market Services Manager as of July 2020. In his new role, Alun will deliver added value to customers in the UK and Ireland and help them make the most of their market leading Danfoss Drives products.

In addition to taking on operations and leadership responsibilities for Danfoss’ after market business, Alun will work on fostering and extending mutually beneficial relationships with the company’s extensive Service Partner network.

“I am excited about joining such an experienced team and I believe that together we’ll be able to exceed customer expectations in every way,” enthused Alun. “My main focus will be the promotion of our DrivePro® service packages in the UK and Ireland  markets, with the aim of making Danfoss Drives the ‘Best in Class’ service provider in our industry”.

Alun has extensive experience in the drives market, having previously served as Global Service Manager for Invertek Drives, where he was responsible for managing the daily operations of the UK and Global Service Centres. In this role, he was renowned for achieving consistently highquality service delivery.

An Electrical/Electronic Engineering graduate from the University of Glamorgan, Alun has been in the drives service business for over 20 years. He began his career as a Repair Technician and is grounded in delivering a high standard of technical support and solving customer issues, as well as running a profitable business unit.
