TFC to offer new product solutions at the Engineering Design Show

From October 19 to 20, leading fastener and bespoke supply chain solutions provider TFC will be exhibiting at the Engineering Design Show in Coventry at the Building Society Arena. On stand F44, TFC will showcase two brand-new product solutions — ARaymond VDA low-push connector and the new Smalley Revolox™ self-locking retaining ring alongside a range of other connector, ring and spring solutions. TFC’s experienced team will be on the stand to discuss how this technology can be used to solve design challenges in engineering and manufacturing applications.

Visitors to the TFC stand can find out more about Revolox, a new self-locking retaining ring that features a unique dimple and slot design. As well as enabling high RPM performance, Revolox has half the weight of a typical retaining ring, reducing rotating mass and increasing efficiency. Applications for the new product include aerospace and electric vehicles and a range of industrial sectors.

TFC will also showcase ARaymond’s new VDA low-push Quick Connector, which reduces insertion force required by 45% resulting in lower operative fatigue. The new connectors can be used for engine cooling circuits and cooling batteries in electric or hybrid vehicles. Its improved design means it can be easily integrated into thermal management systems, solving assembly challenges and improving overall vehicle safety. Those attending can also view other products, including Smalley wave springs and a wide range of retaining rings. Visitors can also enquire about ordering custom designs.

“The Engineering Design Show is a great environment where design engineers and other industry professionals can gain direct access to the latest products and services,” explained Simon Ward, Technical Manager at TFC. “The new VDA connector from ARaymond and Revolox™ self-locking retaining ring from Smalley are both new to our offering and the show is the perfect opportunity to talk to customers about the key features and benefits they bring them to the wider industry for the first time.

“We are excited about attending shows in person again, meeting people face-to-face and sharing new solutions with them. At the stand, our experienced team will be there to answer any questions and demonstrate how these technical products can help solve an increasingly wide range of manufacturing and engineering challenges, including the assembly of hybrid and electric vehicles,” concluded Ward.
