~ Recab UK adds the newly launched MIRO router to its product line ~
Embedded computing and connectivity specialist, Recab UK, is now offering the newly released MIRO router from INSYS icom. The router is highly compact and brings the class-leading features of the existing range to a new, affordable price point.
The MIRO router has INSYS icom’s excellent, well-proven cellular modem built in, with 2G/3G/4G/LTE support and strong connection stability. It also offers a single Ethernet and configurable, digital input or output for local connections – making it ideal for simple remote monitoring applications and/or PTSN modem replacement.
Leveraging INSYS icom’s experience in the market, the MIRO uses the well-proven and tested VPN and routing functionalities of the existing range and incorporates the latest monitoring and security features. INSYS icom routers are used world-wide and are regularly subjected to penetration testing by customers and regulatory bodies. The managed services of icom Router Management and icom Connectivity Suite allow users to implement central device management quickly and easily, or set up a VPN service. In fact, the web-based GUI makes all device configuration possible locally or remotely, from password protected access profiles, to enablement of differing users to have defined view and change privileges, for added security and flexibility.

The MIRO is compact, so that it can be used with flexibility, with dimensions of 26 x 77 x 99 mm. It also has several mounting options including DIN rail in two alignments, screw mounting direct to walls or plates and is available as a board-only product for OEM projects. The MIRO is built to industrial quality, with both an extended temperature range and independently tested vibration and shock resistance.
