JSP celebrates National Apprenticeship week with a visit from Robert Courts MP

JSP is celebrating National Apprenticeship week with a visit from Robert Courts, Minister for Aviation, Maritime & Security and MP for Witney, and West Oxfordshire. JSP recognise that apprenticeships are a brilliant way for individuals to build their futures by gaining qualifications while working and earning at the same time whilst being supported by local Schools and Colleges.

JSP continue to drive the global advance of innovative PPE, designing ground-breaking patented products providing apprentices with the opportunity to draw on a wealth of industry knowledge and manufacturing technologies. JSP’s well-established facilities and highly skilled team offer excellent support at every step of the apprenticeship journey providing training, developing skills and knowledge, employing their apprentices after apprenticeship.

Robert Courts MP said: “It was a pleasure to visit JSP at their Witney factory to mark National Apprenticeship Week. I have always championed the benefits of apprenticeships, both for businesses and individuals, so it is great to have a local company in JSP which is committed to providing apprenticeship opportunities for local people, preparing them for high-skilled jobs.”

JSP’s apprenticeship numbers have consistently risen year on year, and they currently have apprentices on programme for Business Administration, Design and Development Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Electrotechnical Apprenticeships.
