Sontex Supercal 5: Optimised for easier installation with simpler configuration, and expanded data storage for enhanced monitoring. The future of energy monitoring is now.

The Supercal 5 is the latest edition to the Sontex range of heating and cooling products. This next-gen calculator is pushing the boundaries of modern measurement, it succeeds the highly respected Supercal 531, which led the way in the RHI. The new series integrator has been updated with some very appealing features that installers and end-users will appreciate. LEDs which provide real-time readings!

Let’s start with the design, the housing has been optimised to ensure easier installation, with more space for wiring whilst keeping the option for mains or battery power options. The display has had a facelift – now with NFC, delivering quick and easy configuration for busy installers. Its large, illuminated dot matrix display (128×64) provides improved navigation – even in poor lighting.

So, that’s the visual changes, let’s look at the finer details.

A question which keeps popping up – Can I use the new integrator with my existing flow part?

Yes, The Supercal 5 is compatible with the full range of Superstatic 440 meters – from size DN15 to DN500. It can also log data from other pulsed meters, including Gas, Water, Oil and Electricity Meters. it has a fully customisable tariff and data logger function, and the display menu position customisable by the Superprog windows software. The Supercal 5 has retrofittable modules which can be replaced at any time without affecting the approval.

It truly is a versatile device and it’s important to mention that this is one integrator for both heating and cooling – no special requests are required prior to order and no need to return for reprogramming should you wish to change from one to the other!
