ABB’s ABB Measurement and Analytics will once again bring its exceptional leak detection and air monitoring solutions to Air Quality and Emissions 2022, offering visitors the very latest in advanced CEM technologies.
As air emissions monitoring standards continue to tighten, operators from across industry are looking for solutions that help them meet or exceed requirements while ensuring their analyzers remain serviceable. With greenhouse gases such as methane gaining more attention, another priority is accurate and flexible methane detection from diverse sources such as pipelines and stationary facilities.
Measuring up to 15 components simultaneously, the ABB ACF5000 Hot Water Extractive CEMS continues to set the standard in FTIR based CEMS. Able to characterize water soluble components to accurately monitor the composition of exhaust gases, the ACF5000 also helps optimize operational costs with: the longest certified maintenance interval of 12 months; internal validation with no need for test gases; and easy transfer of diagnostics information for rapid troubleshooting.
Improving the reliability and agility of emissions monitoring equipment is a growing priority across industry and ABB’s Genix Datalyzer delivers on this need. Offering enterprise grade, cloud-based monitoring of a company’s fleet of analyzers, Genix Datalyzer converts asset data into actionable insights to help manage vital aspects such as analyzer compliance, availability, quality and accuracy and cyber security.
Achieving flexible, cost-effective methane detection is now easier than ever with ABB’s Hoverguard, an advanced, drone-based methane leakage detection solution. Using patented ICOS laser technology, Hoverguard can detect, precisely locate, and estimate the size of methane leakage sources over 10-15 times more land area per minute than traditional methods, allowing users to survey locations that were previously difficult to access.
As part of its comprehensive offering for gas and emissions testing, ABB will also show its Advance Optima System, a high-performance modular analyzer system capable of combining a number of analyzer technologies to measure multiple gas components within a single measurement stream.
ABB’s CEM-DAS solution is a PC-based data acquisition and handling system for continuous emission monitoring applications. Scalable from a single stack installation up to plants with multiple measuring points, CEM-DAS allows users to readily certify their systems to EN 17255.
Another solution is ABB StackFlowMaster. Designed to measure flow in stacks up to eight metres in diameter, it comes in a manual version for applications with relatively clean gases, and an automatic version for applications with dust-laden gas streams.
ABB will also show its AZ20 combustion gas analyzer, designed for use in arduous applications such as sulphur recovery processes and clinical waste incineration.
See all these ABB emissions monitoring solutions on stands D12 and D13 at Air Quality and Emissions Show, 12th-13th October 2022.
