BakerHicks, the multi-disciplinary design, engineering and project delivery company, have expanded their European Life Sciences operation with the opening of a new office in Belgium to service and support new and existing clients in the region.
The move further expands BakerHicks’ life sciences capabilities in Europe, with the business now comprising of more than 1,000 specialists across the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and now Belgium, with plans in place for further expansion across the continent. This builds on the company’s strong relationships with its existing clients, including multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnical organisations, with operations in the region, providing them with on-the-ground service and support to deliver tailored solutions.
Centrally located in the city of Wavre, less than 15 miles from Brussels, the new office will enable BakerHicks to provide a full-service offering to their clients across the project life cycle, from engineering design through to project delivery and qualification. The company has proven skillsets across project and construction management, engineering design, layout, master planning, commissioning, qualification and verification (CQV), managed services, and on-site project execution, delivering industry leading pharmaceutical and biopharma expertise on all size capex projects across Europe.
