~ Novotek Ireland to showcase expertise for Irish customers ~
Novotek, who aid industrial firms adopting advanced automation, IoT technologies and smart factory solutions, will be attending the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition in Dublin on May 23-24, 2023. In addition to sponsoring the event, Sean Robinson, manager of software solutions at Novotek will also be giving two insightful talks — covering the key topics of productivity and sustainability.
Attending the show is a timely opportunity for Novotek to engage with Irish customers, following the company’s recent decision to expand its presence in Ireland. At the conference, Novotek will be available to showcase their expertise and solutions at stand G03A. Martin Hurley, who as business development manager heads up the new Ireland office, will be available alongside Sean Robinson at the stand.
The Novotek duo will be joined by Donald MacLennan, software channel director at GE Digital. Visitors to the stand will be able to get a clearer understanding of how various digital solutions can improve their operations, with information and demonstrations being available for solutions like GE Digital’s Historian, Operations Hub and Plant Applications, and HighByte’s Intelligence Hub.
‘‘This is the first major event we will be attending following the opening of our Irish office, so it is the perfect time to get out there and meet people,’’ explained Martin. ‘‘We want to help make smart manufacturing a reality for Irish customers. Our aim is to demonstrate how you can future proof your manufacturing operations with advanced edge technology and software solutions that improve quality, productivity and schedule performance.’’
As well as exhibiting at the conference, Sean Robinson, Novotek’s software solutions manager, will also be giving two talks. Sean’s talks will look at ‘‘sustaining manufacturing in turbulent times’’ and will address how Industry 4.0 can equip companies to respond better to current energy and supply chain challenges.
‘‘Recent events have driven home how important adaptability can be. Many manufacturers are now treating process innovation, supplier quality management and productivity enhancement as their insurance against future uncertainty and turbulence,’’ Sean explained.
The talks will explore what leaders have learned about supplementing their existing automation and operational systems with modern solutions and methods. ‘‘We’ll be exploring case studies relevant to anyone challenged to hold price and schedule in today’s turbulent environment,’’ Sean added.
Novotek is a firm believer in helping customers understand how technology can benefit them, and getting out in the world and engaging with people has been key to this mission. ‘‘It’s not magic; it’s all about the right people having a common plan,’’ Sean explained. ‘‘Tech shouldn’t be just for the techies – it’s for the operation. Novotek is all about de-mystifying what’s useful, how it’s useful and why it’s important.’’
Novotek provides customers with the digital solutions they need to see, control, optimise and follow up all production processes wherever they are. To find out more, visit stand G03A at the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition in Dublin, May 23-24.
