Augmented AI and quality assurance expert, QualiSense, has expanded its global presence by adding a European industry trailblazer to its advisory board. Klaus Beetz, EIT Manufacturing’s former CEO, will help advance QualiSense’s knowledge of the European market by providing on-hand support to the company, which is expanding into Europe following several successful projects across North America and Asia.

Based in Germany, Beetz served as EIT Manufacturing’s CEO from 2020 to 2023. Prior to this, he cemented his position as a technology leader during his 17 years at Siemens, holding various roles relating to research and development. Alongside this, Beetz was a member of the Digital Europe advisory forum, which was established by the European Commission to facilitate the deployment of digital technologies across Europe.

Beetz’s educational background is also a perfect fit for QualiSense having graduated in mathematics, philosophy and computer science. Following this, he worked as a software engineer at a leading company in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) sector.

“Improving the pace of digitalisation across manufacturing has always been my passion,” commented Beetz. “During my time with EIT Manufacturing, I’ve worked with many research organisations to help them turn their innovative technologies into a commercial offering. I’m excited to work with a business that has already done this, and I believe that I can help QualiSense roll this out across Europe.”

“Klaus is joining QualiSense at an extremely exciting time,” explained Erez Tsur, CEO and co-founder of QualiSense. “With the backing of our founding companies — Johnson Electric and Cortica — we want to put the quality manager back in control of their own quality assurance.”

QualiSense’s quality assurance solution is built on the concept of augmented AI, where the user and the AI work in tandem to generate a model that perfectly fits the inspection requirements. Backed by Johnson Electric and Cortica, the company’s mission is to deliver a fast, scalable and universally accessible augmented AI platform for production quality assurance.
