British electronic component manufacturer Cliff Electronics has recently expanded its offer of panel-mount connectors with a new series of feedthrough models (feedthrough) SMA in XLR format. The new elements from the CP30260 series enable convenient transmission of RF signals through the device panel wall without the need for soldering while maintaining high connection parameters.
The presented sockets are an extension of the popular CLIFF Electronics offer. In this case, SMA and RP-SMA connectors are used. Thanks to the standard impedance of 50Ω and a frequency range supported up to 18GHz, the connectors provide a universal connection, ideal for use in RF communication systems (WiFi, LTE, GPS), open-band telecommunications, radio signal transmission, AV equipment, aerospace and defense electronics. The connectors are also suitable for microwave systems, antenna systems, and test/measurement equipment.
SMA and RP-SMA feedthrough connectors are gold-plated to ensure high corrosion resistance. They can operate at temperatures from -30°C to 80°C and are available in a standard XLR format. They are intended for devices where panel space is limited.
